These terms and conditions ate the Competition Rules (“Rules”) and apply to competitions taking place in June as part of Dietitians Week. By entering a Competition, entrants agree to be bound by the Rules.

The promoter of Competitions is The British Dietetic Association, 148/9 Charles House, Great Charles Street, Queensway, Birmingham.  B3 3HT (“BDA).

The BDA reserves the right to cancel or amend Competitions or the Rules (including the eligibility requirements) at its sole discretion with or without prior notice (i) in the event of any occurrence outside the BDA’s reasonable control (ii) to ensure the competitions are run fairly and honourably manner, and (iii) to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidance. Any cancellation or changes will be promoted.

Employees (or members of the families or households of employees) of the BDA, any supplier that the BDA deems to be too closely connected to the BDA are not eligible to enter the Competition. The BDA reserves the right not to award a prize (and to select an alternative winner) if the BDA is aware or has reasonable grounds to suspect that a winner is not eligible for these reasons.

The two winners of the BDA Membership Competition are each entitled to free membership to the BDA up to the cost of a full BDA membership package for a one year period, which equates to £285.

The two winners of the BDA Live Competition (March 2016) are each entitles to free attendance to the BDA Live event in March 2016 over the two days at a London location (tbc), which equates to £500.  This includes entrance to the two days, lunch and refreshments throughout.  This does NOT include, travel costs or accommodation.

In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, conduct, results and all other matters relating to a Competition, the decision of the BDA shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
