Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

Early referral to a dietitian may lead to a reduction in future costs of care for people with IBS.[i]

Where first line advice fails, dietitians are uniquely placed to advise on exclusion diets such as the low FODMAP diet, which can reduce functional symptoms specifically bloating, pain andĀ flatulenceĀ in 75% of patients.[ii]
