Launched in 2003, LinkedIn is a social networking site for professionals. Primarily used for professional networking, it is also used for social networking too.
LinkedIn has more than 225 million users covering 200 countries. The membership grows by approximately two new members every second. There are around 4 million users from the United Kingdom.
